The Surgical Company, a key player in distributing medical devices and solutions across Europe, required a comprehensive website overhaul.
Optimizing user experience for a leading healthcare distributor
The primary challenge was that their previous website was outdated, cluttered, and difficult to navigate, leading to poor user engagement. The main goals of the project were to create a modern, user-friendly website that clearly presented their range of products, solutions, and services, while also enhancing the brand's online presence.

Identifying the core issues
The initial website suffered from several usability problems. The navigation was complex, making it hard for users to find relevant information quickly. The content was not well-organized, and there was a lack of visual hierarchy, which left users feeling overwhelmed. To fully understand these issues, extensive user research and analysis were conducted, revealing that both potential clients and medical professionals found it challenging to access the information they needed. Key user groups included medical distributors, hospital procurement teams, and healthcare professionals, all of whom had specific pain points related to the website's usability.

Conceptualizing the new experience
The ideation phase involved extensive brainstorming sessions to explore various design concepts that could address the identified issues. Wireframes were developed to outline the new site structure, focusing on simplifying navigation and enhancing content accessibility. Integrating design elements
Transitioning from concept to design, the focus was on creating a cohesive and visually appealing interface. A new style guide was developed to ensure brand consistency across the site, incorporating a modern color palette, typography, and iconography. High-fidelity mockups were created to bring the new design to life, with an emphasis on enhancing user experience.
